Usually, the best thing to do to my reconning is to use invisibility to get to both the tavern(arcomage) and to get to the Proving grounds. To get through the proving grounds thou is worse... Save\load often and avoid the fat behemoths blocking your way. The tunnel to Nighon is a hellhole too
