Yes, there are several items and a couple of chests that you need the spell telekinesis to get or open. the most obvious example are the reagents in Harmondale. The only item I can remeber that is stuck in something is the ore in the obelisk in Tularean Forrest. You can get that if you find the right angle and (again) use telekinesis. The hidden items you are talking about, are they blue dots from wizards eye in Castle Harmondale? If you have two ambassadors in the throne room it is nothing to worry about. This is the first I have heard about any trash pile bug
