I am not sure if the Leather you speak is a Relic or Artifact or just an expensive Leather.
if it's not a Relic or Artifact it's possible.
if it's a Relic (value 30000) it seem that in M&M7 you may get more than 1 copy of relic.
as far as I know in M&M6 and M&M8 you can get some Relic/Artifact in duplicate if you get one as Random and second as fix position.
I got 2 Morder Dagger(2d3+8 and vampiric) in M&M6
can get 2 "Noble Devilbone Bow" (5d4+12 and explosive impact)
and 2 Mace of the sun ( double damage againts elemental) Eli the witch
