Items of Armsmaster, of Dodging, and of the Fist have their bonus always halved. Therefore, item of Armsmaster +12 is the best item of Armsmaster you can find in the game. It is, in fact, a "halved" item of skill +24 (or +25), a level 6 item, which you can get only as a loot from dragons and blood titans. A shop, which sells level 5 items (bonus +10 - +17), will sell items of Armsmaster +5 - +8. And So on. But ... But the Enchant Item spell never halves the item bonus. Therefore, a master in Water Magic can create an item of Armsmaster +12 and a grand in Water Magic can create an item of Armsmaster +17(!)
