- Breeding Zone and Walls of Mists respawn everytime you enter them.
- Lands of Giants and Barrow Downs respawn every 6 months.
- Evermorn Island respawns every 6 months?? I am not sure right now.
- Castle Harmondale never respawns.
- All other areas, including all dungeons, respawn every 2 years. A new respawn period begins when you enter the area (dungeon) flagged for respawning. The flag is cleared, the area is repopulated, "flames" and chests are reset, and a new period is running. When the period elapses, the flag is set again, and the area is waiting for your arrival Note that "changing an area" also means "entering a dungeon or any other similar place there". You can enter Stone City from Barrow Downs, turn back, leave - and trucks of gogs, ghosts, and gargoyles can be all around. The same is true for MM8 with the exception that the respawn period is always 2 years. There are no "6 month" or "always when you enter" areas in MM8. |
