1. GM Preservation, GM regeneration, Day of the Gods, Hour of Power, Day of Protection, Fly, and a set of white mana potions ready.
2. Fly *close to the ground* so that you can hit with a good chance. Always *fly* (you are fast when you are flying so that you can fly away before the showers fall to the ground), never stand on the same place, not even a second.
3. Sooner or later, you get a shower Okay, Preservation will prevent the shower from killing you and Regeneration is lightning fast. Do not forget that unconscious characters are regenerating, too. Fly away immediately and wait until you regenerate. Note: My high score: -465 HP Even this can GM Regeneration manage
4. Also sooner or later, you get drained or diseased. Okay, the white potions will fix it. If you are drained then do not haste from the battle field (you'll get drained again after returning). Leave the battlefield when you need mana points.
5. Always choose a pack of devils and attack them until you kill them. You cannot concentrate on a single devil (you would need to stop changing place permanently) but you can fly in circles and beat them, beat them, beat them ...
6. NEVER allow Preservation and Regeneration to wear off. Keep an eye on duration of these spells permanently. Luckily, the devils do not cast Dispel Magic.
7. When you reduce the number of devils in front Colony Zod sufficiently then you have won. Well, the showers are threatening still but they aren't too frequent now so that your task is much easier.
8. Use weapons of Ice. Devils are immune to fire.
9. A tactical note: Use mana regeneration magical items. If the Fly spell caster gets drained then the item can regenerate enough mana points to keep you in the air. Also, if more than one character can cast Fly then let them all to cast the spell. Reason is the same.
