It is called "Legends of Might and Magic", and there are some servers around the world, still hosting it. I tried it and for unknown to me reason from some point started to hate it, but my youngest son still plays it sometimes. As for Meridian, Rib once mentioned behemoths in MM7 are from there, probably, tunnels to Eofol too. Iirc, if you still have MM7 (or it was MM6?) installation disc, there is trial version for Meridian on it. Try to use Windows Explorer.
