Original Message:   Hmmm. And I heard that back in the 1970's.
I shouldn't imagine the book predates that. Nothing new... *grin*

Accountants are great as advisers, but they're a menace as the ultimate boss of a business which depends on scientific innovation. And elsewhere, now I come to think of it. Naming no names, but thinking of 3do...   I haven't come across one yet who could make a reasonable fist of assessing a scientific research programme. I presume there are some somewhere, but I've never (knowingly) met one.
