i was reading what some of the board wrote to gogo, and i was interested in many of the responses... i dont support piracy...i need to say that because of the direction that this post will go... i read what peter2 said..."...we won't support pirated games under any circumstances. We are willing to help you get a legitimate copy of the game, but that's as far as we will go. The reason for that is that piracy is effectively robbing the producers of the money that they need to make the next game, and we don't want to do that. We want them to keep producing so that we can keep playing." i agree...and i agree with death...3do is out of business...ubisoft is not doing anything with mm titles, and specifically with mmX...i know you folks that worked on the previous mm titles, including bones and radek (and who else?) are not now being pursued to help ubisoft... so i have mixed emotions about gogo's dilemma...more than that, i have mixed emotions about ubisoft...seems they could at least throw you guys a bone and let you run with the mmX title...why not? it is true what peter said...it is true that money produces titles...but here, ubisoft is doing nothing... as bill murrey said in caddyshack, "how about a little something, ya know, for the effort??" my opinion, which together with a dollar wont get you a cup of coffee, is that ubisoft has screwed you guys who have been so faithful to the game, and to the fans (of which i am one)... but this post is not really informative, nor is it valid to argue without all the facts...i guess i just had to get on my soapbox...sorry... i just wish we knew mmX was coming, and that ubisoft was going to hire you who had worked so hard on the other programs... and i must say, as many of you have also said, mmVI and mmVII are still the two best single player role playing games ever to hit the market, imvho... for what its worth....john
