Whenever I get a message that some unknown error has occurred, the first thing I do is reboot. That often cures it. If it happens again, that's different, and it can be a symptom of something fairly basic. The last time it happened to me, I traced it back to the Might & Magic IV game engine being incompatible with a new memory cacheing program that my computer was using. But that was some years ago. |
