I have an ATI Radeon and WinXP and have never had any problems whatsoever with their drivers. You really should update your drivers if you expect to be able to play new games. Anyway, to play MM7, I disabled sound and hardware acceleration, made my own shortcut directly to the executable and ran from that, and did NOT run in compatibility mode. I also copied new versions of Bink and Smacker into the MM7 folder, but I don't know if that actually helped anything (it was in the middle of trying to get things to work).
