Original Message:   a question about mm7 win2k compatibility fixing... (about ACT1,5) we may find a solution to ALL mm7 win2k problems here!!
i found a really good compatibility fixer made by microsoft (finally something from them THAT WORKS!). but i tried and i tried but i never managed to get it to work with mm7. first it only showed the loading screen. then i discovered that i hade to apply to the mm7setup.exe with the command line "auto" without the "s. but i still couldnt make it work. you can download the latest version where qfixapp hasnt been excluded from janne at the attached link no, you can't download it from microsoft because only regarding the service packs you can download the not most uptodate thing (>). experiment with it and notify me when you find a solution.

NB! when you choose layer, you must select for the operation system you are running (i.e. if u are running win2k select win2k!!)

before you start experimenting, set the mm7 setup to hardware, browse (as i said) the mm7setup.exe (you must atach the command line in a box right below). then mark win2k, switch tap to fixed, and begin experimenting!

when you found the solution, put the act15 up for download please, i doubt jannes site will be up for more than a year ahead . and if u find one that works DONT SHUT THE QFIX!! push advanced>> tab and check ALL the boxes that pop up. then push add matching file and open clokspl.exe, check all these new boxes too. then backup both files (clokspl and mm7setup.exe) and push the "creat fix suport" button, this creats a patch for mm7 wich you unfortunately wont find anywhere on the hard drive (youll have to install it when the yes/no to install it now dialog appears)
