The Titan's Stronghold is, however, nearly the only place in the game where you can consistently have that great a distance with a clear shot to the monsters. You can take out the dragons there by looking slightly up. You can also hit Wromthrax at long range in his cave, and behemoths and medusas in the last long passage of the Tunnels to Eofol. You can get most of the other spells to hit at extreme long range too, but you have to set them as quickspells and use the "s" key to fire them. (Otherwise, the game will wait for you to acquire a target.) Short-range spells (like Sparks) and spells that require a target (like Implosion) will not work this way. Spell ranges work properly outside, for the most part. I've heard some spells referred to as ICBM's (hitting targets outside of the yellow zone), but haven't gotten that to work. BV
