corrupted areas or maps are, unfortunately, a common problem in games. ~move yer savegame folder to another location (like yer desktop) ~uninstall the game completely ~reinstall, using a full install, and try again it's very possible yer savegames will be corrupted, too. nothing can fix that. so don't use any of yer savegames when you test the new install. so saying, be prepared for the eventuality that you will most likely haveta start all over. good luck.
