The instructions goes as follows:

Downloading from the Web:

1. Click on the 'mm710-11.exe' link below to download the patch to your computer. If your web browser asks you where you want to save the file, save it to the Might and Magic VII directory on your hard drive (default folder is C:\Program Files\3DO\Might and Magic VII).

2. Double click on the file that you downloaded to your Might and Magic VII folder. A window will appear that is titled 'RTPatch Binary Update System'. A status bar will appear for each of the files that will be updated.

3. Check the version number of your 'mm7.exe' file by going to Start | Find | Files or Folders. In the named line type mm7.exe. In the 'Look' in line select "My Computer'. Click on the 'Find Now' button.

4. Right-click on the 'mm7.exe' file, select 'Properties', click on the Version tab, the File Version number should be '1.1'.
