goto the MM7.exe file and setput compatability mode, try win98/me or win95
create your own short-cut from the mm7.exe and do not use the one that the game provides
run mm7 configuration utitlity and disable hardware audio XP and MM7 do NOT get along, u may have to disable hardware video also
during install of the game, it will not recognize dx9, just continue
can't find mss32.dll, unzip the file, create a new user account, soneone also mentioned on one of these boards that there are newer mss32.dll files available from a company that makes it (I don't know where but search the boards for it).
