hi again! i think i am hosed with sound on my winxp machine- it's onboard sound, and this compaq doesn't seem to take addin cards tho the manual says it does... i tried to install a different video card and the machine ATE the video card... blew it up. anyways. assuming that it MIGHT be a registry problem making my mm7 install have horrible sound (mm6 and mm7 have the same sound prob that i talked about with my mm6 install), what exactly IS that registry hack to MAYBE fix the sound? thanks! absinthetic
