I did not use shortcut installed on desktop because it never works. Go into your start menu and select the programme from there. Then in the configuration screen click on windowed and software 3D. Of course before you do this you have to reduce the colours of your display as they seem to cause problems. Then the programme will work, assuming of course you do have disk 2 in your disk drive. By working on a window mode, you have the option to surf the web for tips and maps otherwise you need to print out maps and tips each time before you embark on the game which can be a pain.
