Ok, I finally get MM7 to start (Millenium Edition did the trick) Then I have all the problems mentioned here, and fixed them all with the ideas mentioned here, then I get a new problem that I haven't seen talk of yet. Every time I open a house and click on one of the chat options, the game freezes. In windowed mode the game just flat out crashes to desktop. Everything else seems to run smooth as butter, but I just can't talk to people in houses, which I forsee to be a obstacle in finishing the game =(. If anyone has ANY idea's on how I might fix this, I would be most appreciative, as I am desperate to play my favorite game. System is:
Windows XP home
3.0 intel processor
ATI Radeon 9800 256 megs
sound blaster audigy 2 platinum
