    I also got back up to Respectable, so I wouldn't be going to prison.

    Does the "Respectable" rating also apply to the city I Armageddoned? Or will I have to go to THAT city's temple and donate a pile more?

Independently of whether it is or not, you can loot them and just donate to get back to Respectable .
