After many, many years, I have finally finished another complete game of MM6

Over the last 10 to 15 years, I had started many games but, for various reasons, I have never finished a complete game and destroyed the Hive. I have just finished one a few minutes ago.

Comparing with my previous games, this game (PSCA) is a bit longer (4 months and 16 days instead of 3 month +). I did not clear all the tasks and I did not check all the corpses. However, for some unknown reasons, I have a lot more money than I used to get from the game (more than 1 million).

I may start another game soon and check why the result is so much different than my previous games.

Also, my characters are in the 80 ~ 90 levels instead of 50+ levels

Did you perhaps put more points into merchant skill with those extra levels?

I mean for all of your characters. I know I tend to get all my characters to expert and then master as I accumulate skill points later in the game. That does make a big difference in both selling things and skilling up.

Whoops - meant 'training' not 'skilling up' in my last sentence.

Yes, I usually put one of my characters (the salesman) to master in merchant in the middle of the game.

And I usually hire a Duper or merchant NPC. But I realize, in this game, I had several hundred thousands GP quite early in the game. Note: I did not use the 10,000 chest in the computer center.

Yes, I start a lot of them, but finish very few.

My problem with non-linear games like the MM series is that my style of play (go everywhere, do everything, kill anything that objects both initially and whenever they return) takes time. I start out with a mental plan of what order I want to do things in, but I often don't have enough "connected" time to complete it before I have to break off for a spell. And I forget where I am.

I seldom complete a game in under 9 months game time. My characters have reached just under level 60, I've finished all the promo and council quests, I'm half-way through clearing Dragonsand, and it's early February of the second game year. I've got the "non-placed" Igraine and Guinevere, but still haven't found the "non-placed" Morgan. I shall continue to Mephisto the dragon cadaver in front of me . . .
