Monday it was 110. Tuesday there was so much smoke in the sky that it shaded the sun: it was only 85, and 60 at night. (The year Krakatoa erupted was the "Year Without a Summer," when the northern hemisphere had a killing frost every month.) I wonder if that's why it snowed in Colorado the other day?
