In the confined area of the corridor, I found it very easy to beat the dragon "around a corner". (You know what I mean: some part of the sprite is visible, so you hit it in melee, but its shots are wasted against the wall.) The only problem are those traps that will repeatedly hit you while fighting, so you must be strong enough to be able to take that (but I think that at level 42, you should be). All in all, this must surely be the easiest dragon to kill in whole of MM6.
