I thought that the error message referred to some buffer within MM7, so if the mod replaced some sounds, they would be perhaps larger than the buffer. So, from this point of view, there are three possibilities: 1. The mod contains a patch that would address this, but you didn't follow the correct installation procedure. 2. It's just a bug in the mod. 3. It's something entirely different.

If the mod indeed did change some sounds, you could go back to the original game and use the original sounds. If not, then Bones is probably right .
