| IMO that's a bug in the game logic. The only practical penalty, I suppose, is that if you do that, your characters won't get the benefit of the first promotion, and if you're running a druid, I suspect that will be significant. The boost of 1 hit point and one spell point per level that the first promo gives is quite valuable at that stage of a druid's development. And of course the whole party will miss out on the XP bonus. |
