I think it could work okay after copying Anims/Anims2.vid from the play CD to the (game folder)/Anims/Anims2.vid. If you install Grayface's patch, you can even specify a folder with MP3 music that will be played instead of the CD tracks. And if it won't work, you may always stick the CD into a computer that has a drive and make an ISO image. (This will scrap the music tracks. If you want them as well, you should make a CUE/BIN image.) Certainly you will find a way of doing that.
