I wish I could remember how it went for me, but I am running mm6/7/9 on Win10. I have several versions and over the years some wold not install. The Millennium edition is the one that has worked on Win8 and 10 for me. Try opening the CD as a file. Then use the setup exe and run as admin. If you do get it installed apply Greyface patches and it should work fine.
