You can pretty much find one of everything you might need in houses in various towns so with town portal it's easy enough to jump around and switch. There is both a teacher and instructor in Kriegspire, and since you're probably hitting that well every day before you go off to fight, that's a convenient place to switch to 'fight mode.'
