It's well overpowered. I played a Dark party once so I could do the quests specific to the dark side, but I never finished it. It was too easy and I got bored. Besides, playing Dark, you miss out on that glorious battle to clear The Pit. The battle to clear Celeste is a very anaemic set-to in comparison.
