The problem here is that the game engine is antique; it's pre-Windows, and turn-based only. I'd have to describe it these days as good in spite of the engine. I think BDJ would be metaphorically shouting against the thunder if he tried to do any mods for MM3. I would think that modding MM4-5 would be more rewarding, there are big areas in both those where nothing much is going on. But I'm still not sure it's a good idea because the game engine is so old.
